Enable External Links and Rich Context in Feedback Posts
One feature that could make feedback.frill.co even more effective is the ability to attach external resource links directly to feedback posts. Users often suggest features or improvements that benefit from additional context or examples. For instance, linking to tutorials, case studies, or relevant community resourcesβlike aimaghub, which shares insights on AI, digital tools, and softwareβcould help teams better understand and prioritize requests. Additionally, introducing tags, categories, and advanced filtering options would make browsing feedback much easier. Users could quickly sort posts by topic, popularity, or status, while product managers could identify trends and high-priority requests without having to scroll through all submissions. This enhancement would make the platform more user-friendly, encourage detailed and actionable feedback, and foster better collaboration between community members and developers. It ensures feedback is structured, contextual, and highly valuable for product growth.

Release / Milestone on roadmap
Can we have something like a "release" on the roadmap board? We don't release 1 feature at one time. We release some features and bug fixes on one release (version) every sprint.

Customize Idea Submission Form
While I really like how simple the idea submission form is, we want our contributors to be thinking about risk and impact when they make their suggestions. Customizing the form - changing the default text, and/or adding additional fields would be really helpful! I want to be able to ask: what problem are you trying to solve? What is your proposed solution?

Time planning on roadmap
We need to have a field in each idea for us to indicate the expected delivery date. In settings, we should be able to select the type of date to use: quarters, months, weeks, specific dates (we will be using quarters). This field should be visible but read only to external users, both in the list of ideas and the roadmap. A very useful tool would be to have ideas shown in a timeline display of the roadmap, considering this new field. This could be delivered at a later stage :) A nice to have would be to be able to select, for each idea, if the delivery date field is visible to external users. This way, as a product manager, I could start planning the delivery timeline and only make them public when I'm ready to accept that commitement. Although I have found similar ideas and voted for them, they do not reflect my exact needs, so I'm posting this as new idea.

Upload and attach a video to an idea
Would be great to be able to embed a video on an idea. Sometimes to explain the idea video is a better format, than text. This could possibly be a Loom integration?

Limit number of votes per user
For some types of projects it's useful to give users limited number of votes, they can distribute among ideas. Otherwise it often happens that users vote for everything instead of ideas they really like. The limit should be permissive enough, but it should make users think twice before voting for something. The limit can recharge after some time period and should be configurable on daily/monthly basis. Also another option is to count total number of issues in project and let users vote for only a certain percentage of them.

Ability to upload documents
Sometimes there is a document (PDF/Word/Spreadsheet) that accompanies or helps to explain the context of a feature request. It would be very useful to be able to attach the document to the ticket rather than just images.

Add ability to Down Vote ideas
We have the option to up-vote ideas, but we would find it just as valuable to enable our users to down-vote ideas. We have 180+ ideas coming in from various customers, and it would be great to have another way to receive customer feedback in form of a down-vote to help us focus on the priority items, or, for example, if a change requested would hinder or break their current workflows.

AI Chrome Extension
It would be great if I could copy. helpdesk conversation and have AI summarize the feedback into one succinct Idea or Improvement. Why? This would mean I can collect feedback easily from ANY Helpdesk software, without the need for a custom integration.

Area for custom CSS and JS
I'm more interested in abiliity to add my own Google Tag Manager or chat widget, etc, so the JS box. But also opening up the ability to override CSS would be great.
