  2. Customize Idea Submission Form

    While I really like how simple the idea submission form is, we want our contributors to be thinking about risk and impact when they make their suggestions. Customizing the form - changing the default text, and/or adding additional fields would be really helpful! I want to be able to ask: what problem are you trying to solve? What is your proposed solution?

  3. AI Chrome Extension

    It would be great if I could copy. helpdesk conversation and have AI summarize the feedback into one succinct Idea or Improvement. Why? This would mean I can collect feedback easily from ANY Helpdesk software, without the need for a custom integration.

  5. 2-way Jira integration

    I'd love it if the Frill board would track our Jira board and move ideas according to how we move them in Jira. Then an idea that was sent to Jira will automatically be set as "Implemented" when the team has finished it in Jira.

  6. Make search mandatory before submitting new ideas

    We spend a lot of time merging ideas. I realize that similar ideas appear when entering a new idea (in fact I'm seeing it as I type!), but it's too easy to ignore. In my perfect world: User goes to add idea User is prompted to search existing ideas first User has to confirm that there were no matching resultsOnly then can user add new idea

  7. Related ideas

    It would be great if we could indicate that two ideas are linked somehow. For example, if there's one piece of code that's causing two related bugs. Or if there's a problem and users have suggested two different ways to fix it. Or if one bug is fixed, but the fix causes another bug. This would be distinct from merging two ideas together. But I'm thinking something like the way inside an Announcement you can link to an Idea, you could have a similar thing for Ideas. Or just have another tab on the Admin view that shows "Related Ideas"

  8. View Ideas Board by Segment

    We need the ability to feed properties from our database to the voters on the ideas board. This will allow us to segment the ideas board based on specific customer properties gathered during sign-up. This segmentation will enable us to prioritize ideas linked to high-priority segments. Additionally, we request the capability to export users who voted on individual ideas, so we can match our data and better understand feature popularity across different segments.

  9. Have user email address as an attribute option on segments

    It would be great to be able to include user email address as an attribute for segmentation so that you can group users by emails that contain e.g. "@SAID COMPANY.co.uk" or internal users etc. (Without having to implement SSO)

  10. New Survey Type – "External Survey"

    Summary We would like to request a new survey type in Frill that allows us to embed external surveys (e.g., Google Forms, Microsoft Forms, Typeform, etc.) via a redirect link, instead of using the native survey builder only. Current Situation Currently, Frill offers a standard survey type that works well for native, in-platform surveys. However, there is no option to reference or link to an external survey tool. This limits our flexibility, as we often use dedicated survey platforms for more complex or branded questionnaires. Desired Functionality We would like a new survey type called "External Survey" (or similar) with the following capabilities: Custom Headline – A text field to add a short, descriptive title for the survey prompt.Custom Content / Description – A rich text or plain text field to provide context, instructions, or a motivating message to the respondent.CTA Button with External Link – A configurable button (with customizable labe) that redirects the user to an external survey URL (Google Forms, Microsoft Forms, Typeform, SurveyMonkey, etc.).Optional: Open in new tab – The link should ideally open in a new browser tab to avoid disrupting the user's current session. Why This Matters Many teams rely on specialized survey tools for advanced logic, branding, or analytics. A redirect-based survey type would significantly increase the flexibility of Frill as an engagement platform and allow us to consolidate our user touchpoints in one place β€” without sacrificing the power of our preferred survey tools.

  11. Capture the URL of the page a customer is on.

    We want our customers to use Frill to report bugs on our website and also to suggest enhancements. For this to be truly effective, we need to know what page they are on when the widget is invoked.

  12. Ability to merge via API

    We are running automation behind the scenes that means its easier to stay on top of things. We have a human in the loop to verify requests, but if they do agree that there is a duplicate, i want to merge via the API so we can trigger from another platform

  13. Custom links in menu

    I'd like to add some custom links to the menu. Things like links to our help docs or maybe an on boarding video.

  14. Area for custom CSS and JS

    I'm more interested in abiliity to add my own Google Tag Manager or chat widget, etc, so the JS box. But also opening up the ability to override CSS would be great.

  15. Automated AI feature suggestions

    What if Frill automatically created Ideas based off conversations from our sales and support teams? It could work like this... Frill connects to places like Intercom, Helpscout, Zenddesk, Discord, Slack etc Once a day, information is collected and sent to a GPT to summarise. Frill then suggests potential new Ideas each morning based on yesterday's discussions. Admins then just hit approve. No need to write them out. Voting could also be automated.
