  1. Announcement Comments

It's a good way to get more specific feedback on an announcement, good or bad. Not just emojis. Comments would then be sent to an Inbox in the dashboard for review.

  2. Custom links in menu

I'd like to add some custom links to the menu. Things like links to our help docs or maybe an on boarding video.

  4. Prevent Users from Editing Ideas After Approval

When the “Idea approval” setting is enabled, users can still edit their idea after it’s been approved. This creates a risk that users might insert inappropriate or sensitive content post-approval without moderator oversight. We suggest either: Locking idea edits after approval (only team members can edit), orRequiring re-approval if a user edits an already approved idea. Option 1 is preferred to keep workflows simple and secure.

  5. AI Chrome Extension

It would be great if I could copy. helpdesk conversation and have AI summarize the feedback into one succinct Idea or Improvement. Why? This would mean I can collect feedback easily from ANY Helpdesk software, without the need for a custom integration.

  6. Automated AI feature suggestions

What if Frill automatically created Ideas based off conversations from our sales and support teams? It could work like this... Frill connects to places like Intercom, Helpscout, Zenddesk, Discord, Slack etc Once a day, information is collected and sent to a GPT to summarise. Frill then suggests potential new Ideas each morning based on yesterday's discussions. Admins then just hit approve. No need to write them out. Voting could also be automated.

  7. Smart Merge

As we get more ideas on our board it becomes harder to keep track of everything and ensure that similar ideas are merged. It would be great of there was a way for Frill to recognise and suggest potentially similar ideas and present them to me for merging. This would save a huge amount of time and more accurately show the popularity of feature quests.

  8. Allow email notification for idea being shipped

Currently theres only an option to notify whenever there's a status change. I want the ability to notify only when the status is set to shipped but not the other statuses.

  9. Conditional, multi-step Surveys

This would allow us to build multi-step flows with branching logic. For example, ask users to rate your product from 1 to 10 - then show different follow-up questions or messages based on their response. Key Features: • Step-by-step surveys with conditional logic • Branching questions based on NPS or rating scale answers • Custom end messages (e.g. “Thanks!” or “Tell us more”) With conditional surveys, we can follow up with promoters and uncover what’s frustrating detractors, all in one flow.

  10. Setup default Notifications' settings for new users

Can we imagine something to setup in advance a "default" list of notifications for new users ? Like a in a new admin page or in Miscellaneous/General. We have identified the following pain points : By default all notifications are enabled and it is too much (the digest should be manually opted-in). Limit spamming Control the notifications workflow with our customers so that we communicate precisely Avoid bad perception of the platform

  11. Add other contact options

We get requests from several channels that do not include their email address: Discord Twitter Facebook Frill requires us to enter an email address, while those systems do not share email addresses, so we have to make up fake emails as we go to circumvent this challenge. Ideally, we could add a new user denoted as from a particular channel and their username for that channel. This request doesn't include sending updates to users on those channels, though that would be a lovely next step - but we're not even enabling any notifications right now. We need the accuracy of the source and user for new ideas.

  12. Delete user and assign content to another user

It would be great if you can also assign the content (ideas, comments, votes) to another user (not only anonymous user) if you want to delete a user. Background: While importing ideas it happens that the same user gets created multiple time. So I have one user which is "active" (Last seen xxx min.) and multiple user with "No last login". I like to delete the once with no login and assign all the content to the one that really exists. Where?: Segments - All users - select one - 3 dots menu

  13. Admin Management of Ideas

Managing ideas, assigning priority, and editing components of submitted ideas is somewhat frustrating and inefficient. Especially since most of what I need to access is Hover-Over to Reveal. I'd suggest a Admin Idea Management area, allowing an Admin/Moderator to see all submitted ideas in a table format (see image). The fields for Status, Topics, and all configured fields for prioritization are editable based on their field type. If an admin wants to manage the Idea submission information, they can hit the edit button to do the rest - which would open as it currently does.

  14. A time estimate (ETA) for Ideas

As someone who's submitted an idea I want to know roughly how long it might be before it makes it into the product.

  15. Customize Idea Submission Form

While I really like how simple the idea submission form is, we want our contributors to be thinking about risk and impact when they make their suggestions. Customizing the form - changing the default text, and/or adding additional fields would be really helpful! I want to be able to ask: what problem are you trying to solve? What is your proposed solution?
