As someone who's submitted an idea I want to know roughly how long it might be before it makes it into the product.

I'd love it if the Frill board would track our Jira board and move ideas according to how we move them in Jira. Then an idea that was sent to Jira will automatically be set as "Implemented" when the team has finished it in Jira.

For survey's, it'd be awesome to be able to decide whether to prompt for feedback or prompt for them to leave a review on a public platform, based on the numeric value of the survey response. For example: 1-3: Prompt for Internal Feedback 4-5: Prompt to Leave TrustPilot/G2/etc. Review

I'd like to add some custom links to the menu. Things like links to our help docs or maybe an on boarding video.

While I really like how simple the idea submission form is, we want our contributors to be thinking about risk and impact when they make their suggestions. Customizing the form - changing the default text, and/or adding additional fields would be really helpful! I want to be able to ask: what problem are you trying to solve? What is your proposed solution?

Could we make it so that anyone with a companies email automatically becomes an admin? As an example, say that you’re the admin of Nike. You can toggle on an option under settings that anyone with a @nike.com email can automatically join the board as an admin. This way it makes it easier to have new team members join your board.

Currently theres only an option to notify whenever there's a status change. I want the ability to notify only when the status is set to shipped but not the other statuses.

When I search for a certain idea (cos we have soooo many of them) it would be great to be able to blend out all the private or archived ones. I still see them in the results window and often think "huh, why is this back in the pool to be voted on" but when I click on it, only then do I see it's an already archived feedback. A pre filter would be good, kinda like "only show active ideas" or so. Thanks

We spend a lot of time merging ideas. I realize that similar ideas appear when entering a new idea (in fact I'm seeing it as I type!), but it's too easy to ignore. In my perfect world: User goes to add idea User is prompted to search existing ideas first User has to confirm that there were no matching resultsOnly then can user add new idea

It would be great if we could indicate that two ideas are linked somehow. For example, if there's one piece of code that's causing two related bugs. Or if there's a problem and users have suggested two different ways to fix it. Or if one bug is fixed, but the fix causes another bug. This would be distinct from merging two ideas together. But I'm thinking something like the way inside an Announcement you can link to an Idea, you could have a similar thing for Ideas. Or just have another tab on the Admin view that shows "Related Ideas"

Hey team. any chance it could be made possible to de-merge topics again? We use Frill A LOT, we love it, but our community is Huge, to say the least - so as we have some moderators helping out with topics, comments etc, it sometimes happens that a merge of topics is done wrongly. But then we cannot de-merge (whatever that word is) again and so we have to write the user and ask him/her to write the idea again yadiyadiya ..... A feature to de-merge again would be so super helpful. Thanks

When the “Idea approval” setting is enabled, users can still edit their idea after it’s been approved. This creates a risk that users might insert inappropriate or sensitive content post-approval without moderator oversight. We suggest either: Locking idea edits after approval (only team members can edit), orRequiring re-approval if a user edits an already approved idea. Option 1 is preferred to keep workflows simple and secure.

Currently voter names are anonymised by turning FirstName LastName into FirstName L. I would like to go further and create completely non-identifiable names for voters to provide full anonymity. Either randomised numbers or randomised names.

Announcements are a great way to keep our customers informed about new features. Though it requires them to actually use the product in order to stumble upon an announcement boosted via a widget. We'd like to keep our users informed about certain annoucements via mail. Ideally users can unsubscribe from receiving announcements via mail. Announcing via mail could be an additional option to "boost" an announcement, though it should co-exist next to other "boost" options for the widget. This feature would be a great addition as we are currently thinking about spinning up another service just to send out the same information we broadcast via Frill Announcements via mail.

I would like to be able to allow users to search announcements. Allowing the ability to quickly search using different search terms could allow users to locate posts quicker.
