  1. A time estimate (ETA) for Ideas

As someone who's submitted an idea I want to know roughly how long it might be before it makes it into the product.

  2. Enable External Links and Rich Context in Feedback Posts

One feature that could make feedback.frill.co even more effective is the ability to attach external resource links directly to feedback posts. Users often suggest features or improvements that benefit from additional context or examples. For instance, linking to tutorials, case studies, or relevant community resourcesβ€”like aimaghub, which shares insights on AI, digital tools, and softwareβ€”could help teams better understand and prioritize requests. Additionally, introducing tags, categories, and advanced filtering options would make browsing feedback much easier. Users could quickly sort posts by topic, popularity, or status, while product managers could identify trends and high-priority requests without having to scroll through all submissions. This enhancement would make the platform more user-friendly, encourage detailed and actionable feedback, and foster better collaboration between community members and developers. It ensures feedback is structured, contextual, and highly valuable for product growth.

  3. Track impressions separately from full view counts

The issue now is that when we post an announcement, and it opens when someone vists our app, the view count is only increased if they scroll to the bottom of the announcement. It'd be nice if we had a way to see how many times the announcement was just visibly shown to someone. This could show up in the Frill admin like: 388 impressions, 45 views Extra data is always good! Right now, we have no idea how many people our announcement has been served up to.

  4. Expose prioritization scores (impact, effort, RICE) in the API

The Frill web UI has a great prioritization system (RICE, Value vs Effort, weighted scoring, custom frameworks) but none of these scores are available through the public API. Currently the GET /ideas endpoint only returns vote_count. It would be very useful to also include: priority_score (the computed composite score)Individual factor values (reach, impact, confidence, effort, or whichever custom factors are configured)The ability to sort/filter ideas by priority_score Use case: We use the API to pull ideas into our internal tools and dashboards. Without priority scores, we can only sort by votes, which doesn't reflect the team's actual prioritization work done inside Frill. This forces us to manually check the Frill UI instead of having a single automated view.

  5. Sort/filter ideas in review

Currently it's only possible to view them - inexplicably - from newest submissions to oldest, and any time the page refreshes, it starts over at the beginning. This makes reviewing and merging the mountain of duplicate ideas a tedious nightmare. There should be ways to sort and filter submissions (e.g. alphabetically, oldest to newest, etc.)

  6. Send ideas or bugs to Triage instead of having to pick a project [Linear integration]

Linear has team-wide Triage issues box where issues should go when created by integrations and for other reasons. That way they can be put into the proper projects etc. Would be great if Linear could place ideas in these rather than having to select projects for issues to go into.

  7. Custom links in menu

I'd like to add some custom links to the menu. Things like links to our help docs or maybe an on boarding video.

  8. Customize Idea Submission Form

While I really like how simple the idea submission form is, we want our contributors to be thinking about risk and impact when they make their suggestions. Customizing the form - changing the default text, and/or adding additional fields would be really helpful! I want to be able to ask: what problem are you trying to solve? What is your proposed solution?

  9. AI Chrome Extension

It would be great if I could copy. helpdesk conversation and have AI summarize the feedback into one succinct Idea or Improvement. Why? This would mean I can collect feedback easily from ANY Helpdesk software, without the need for a custom integration.

  10. Area for custom CSS and JS

I'm more interested in abiliity to add my own Google Tag Manager or chat widget, etc, so the JS box. But also opening up the ability to override CSS would be great.

  12. Automated AI feature suggestions

What if Frill automatically created Ideas based off conversations from our sales and support teams? It could work like this... Frill connects to places like Intercom, Helpscout, Zenddesk, Discord, Slack etc Once a day, information is collected and sent to a GPT to summarise. Frill then suggests potential new Ideas each morning based on yesterday's discussions. Admins then just hit approve. No need to write them out. Voting could also be automated.

  13. Allow team members to automatically join your board

Could we make it so that anyone with a companies email automatically becomes an admin? As an example, say that you’re the admin of Nike. You can toggle on an option under settings that anyone with a @nike.com email can automatically join the board as an admin. This way it makes it easier to have new team members join your board.

  14. Ability to share a Poll with users to gather feedback

Would be incredibly useful if I could use Frill to gather feedback on feature ideas through Polls. For instance, if I'm considering a certain feature, or want feedback about changing something in the app, I could create a poll and invite users to participate. Since the results will directly feed into ideas / roadmap / announcements, it makes sense that Frill would be a useful host for the poll itself.

  15. Mobile SDKs

It would be great if we can configure this on mobile apps to get feedback. Many people leave comments about issues on App stores because there's no such option to leave feedback or suggestions on the app (without leaving the app).
