  1. Prevent Users from Editing Ideas After Approval

    When the β€œIdea approval” setting is enabled, users can still edit their idea after it’s been approved. This creates a risk that users might insert inappropriate or sensitive content post-approval without moderator oversight. We suggest either: Locking idea edits after approval (only team members can edit), orRequiring re-approval if a user edits an already approved idea. Option 1 is preferred to keep workflows simple and secure.

  2. Announcement Comments

    It's a good way to get more specific feedback on an announcement, good or bad. Not just emojis. Comments would then be sent to an Inbox in the dashboard for review.

  3. 2-way Jira integration

    I'd love it if the Frill board would track our Jira board and move ideas according to how we move them in Jira. Then an idea that was sent to Jira will automatically be set as "Implemented" when the team has finished it in Jira.

  4. Don't show archived ideas in search results

    When I search for a certain idea (cos we have soooo many of them) it would be great to be able to blend out all the private or archived ones. I still see them in the results window and often think "huh, why is this back in the pool to be voted on" but when I click on it, only then do I see it's an already archived feedback. A pre filter would be good, kinda like "only show active ideas" or so. Thanks

  5. Set default Status for new ideas

    Now any new idea have "no status" by default, would be nice to have a setup to select one of status like β€œdefault” to assign to all new ideas.

  6. Change frequency of user digest emails

    Frill activity digest emails are currently sent to all registered users weekly. I would like to be able to set to monthly. Weekly is too often, and will compete for attention with our own direct and automated emails. It also risks users unsubscribing and then never getting any further updates at all.

    An integration with Microsoft Teams would allow us to stay on top of newly added ideas, status changes, votes, and other aspects.

  8. Dark mode Logo upload

    Hi, it would be great if we could upload a different logo for the users who are using the dark mode in their profile. Currently there is only one option and a lot of logos have a light and dark version. If you switch to dark mode it could look like a bug and nearly disappear.

  9. Filter ideas based on time frame and creator

    It would be helpful to filter ideas that where created in a specific time frame, like "Last week", "Last month", "Last 3 month", ... Sometimes I loose the overview about what came in the last xxxx weeks. Also it would be nice if I could filter the ideas based on creators or to see just mine. Currently I need to go to the profile to see just mine.

  12. Customize Idea Submission Form

    While I really like how simple the idea submission form is, we want our contributors to be thinking about risk and impact when they make their suggestions. Customizing the form - changing the default text, and/or adding additional fields would be really helpful! I want to be able to ask: what problem are you trying to solve? What is your proposed solution?

  13. AI Chrome Extension

    It would be great if I could copy. helpdesk conversation and have AI summarize the feedback into one succinct Idea or Improvement. Why? This would mean I can collect feedback easily from ANY Helpdesk software, without the need for a custom integration.
