Make search mandatory before submitting new ideas
We spend a lot of time merging ideas. I realize that similar ideas appear when entering a new idea (in fact I'm seeing it as I type!), but it's too easy to ignore. In my perfect world: User goes to add idea User is prompted to search existing ideas first User has to confirm that there were no matching resultsOnly then can user add new idea

A time estimate (ETA) for Ideas
As someone who's submitted an idea I want to know roughly how long it might be before it makes it into the product.

Clone Announcements
The ability to clone/duplicate a previously published announcement to be able to use for a new one. This lets us keep the formatting we like without having to start from scratch

Custom links in menu
I'd like to add some custom links to the menu. Things like links to our help docs or maybe an on boarding video.

Dark mode (User Choice)
I would like my users to be able to toggle between light and dark mode on my Frill board. Perhaps even a setting that automatically turns to dark mode at night time. This should be an optional setting and seperate to Themes which are decided by Admins.

Automated AI feature suggestions
What if Frill automatically created Ideas based off conversations from our sales and support teams? It could work like this... Frill connects to places like Intercom, Helpscout, Zenddesk, Discord, Slack etc Once a day, information is collected and sent to a GPT to summarise. Frill then suggests potential new Ideas each morning based on yesterday's discussions. Admins then just hit approve. No need to write them out. Voting could also be automated.

Allow team members to automatically join your board
Could we make it so that anyone with a companies email automatically becomes an admin? As an example, say that youβre the admin of Nike. You can toggle on an option under settings that anyone with a @nike.com email can automatically join the board as an admin. This way it makes it easier to have new team members join your board.

Mobile SDKs
It would be great if we can configure this on mobile apps to get feedback. Many people leave comments about issues on App stores because there's no such option to leave feedback or suggestions on the app (without leaving the app).

Allow comments on announcements
Similar to how ideas can have comments, it would be fun to allow comments in reply to announcements. I'm not actually sure we'd end up wanting this, but we would definitely test it. (One theory is that enthusiastic replies could be a nice form of social proof in our product, e.g. "omg this new feature is really cool!") Bonus points for making it configurable per announcement.

Microsoft Teams integration
An integration with Microsoft Teams would allow us to stay on top of newly added ideas, status changes, votes, and other aspects.

Ability to filter widget announcements by multiple categories (instead of only one at a time)
Why: We're planning to segment our announcement widgets (we would have a few different versions of them) by non-exclusive categories. However, within a widget's settings it is only possible to filter announcements by "All categories" or a single category at once. Example use case: Within Widget A, we would display any announcement including at least Category 1 OR Category 2 Within Widget B, we would display any announcement including at least Category 3

Image carousel for announcements
We're considering adding an image carousel to announcements to allow you to feature multiple images. Let us know if this sounds like something you would use!

Show banner on "Ideas" tab
The banner is shown only in "Roadmap" tab, why not in "Ideas" tab?

Customize Idea Submission Form
While I really like how simple the idea submission form is, we want our contributors to be thinking about risk and impact when they make their suggestions. Customizing the form - changing the default text, and/or adding additional fields would be really helpful! I want to be able to ask: what problem are you trying to solve? What is your proposed solution?
