As someone who's submitted an idea I want to know roughly how long it might be before it makes it into the product.

Build an official MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for Frill so users can interact with their feedback boards directly from AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible clients. I’d like to be able to click through directly to the Frill idea a customer has posted or commented on from Slack.

Comments API Endpoint has a specific URL which one can load to get to the specific comment. The Ideas API Endpoint doesn't provide such an URL. Once an Idea is in "approval_state = rejected" it doesn't show up in the search anymore (which would be another topic altogether). We also use the API to keep track of our Ideas. It would be nice to include those Ideas URL to directly jump into the Idea. Constructing the URL from the Slug might be possible, but our AI Agent does have a bit trouble with the static part.

The Frill web UI has a great prioritization system (RICE, Value vs Effort, weighted scoring, custom frameworks) but none of these scores are available through the public API. Currently the GET /ideas endpoint only returns vote_count. It would be very useful to also include: priority_score (the computed composite score)Individual factor values (reach, impact, confidence, effort, or whichever custom factors are configured)The ability to sort/filter ideas by priority_score Use case: We use the API to pull ideas into our internal tools and dashboards. Without priority scores, we can only sort by votes, which doesn't reflect the team's actual prioritization work done inside Frill. This forces us to manually check the Frill UI instead of having a single automated view.

It would be great if I could copy. helpdesk conversation and have AI summarize the feedback into one succinct Idea or Improvement. Why? This would mean I can collect feedback easily from ANY Helpdesk software, without the need for a custom integration.

Need a way to create and delete API keys.

Adding Next / Previous buttons (with keyboard shortcuts) would help with quickly viewing ideas. Currently, you have to close the idea to return to list view, and then find the next Idea.

It should be possible to put custom T&C when a user registers directly to Frill.

The issue now is that when we post an announcement, and it opens when someone vists our app, the view count is only increased if they scroll to the bottom of the announcement. It'd be nice if we had a way to see how many times the announcement was just visibly shown to someone. This could show up in the Frill admin like: 388 impressions, 45 views Extra data is always good! Right now, we have no idea how many people our announcement has been served up to.

When boosting an Announcement with a Snippet, it takes the first however-many characters of the announcement. I like to structure them as "blurb / section / section / section ..." so it can be a bit of a juggling act to craft a blurb that's exactly the right length! Otherwise the first section header and maybe even a bit of its text creeps into the preview.

In roadmap board, I'm only seeing the titles in the card. If we can add some excerpts it will looks much more descriptive and elegant.

At the moment you can change the theme or a widget or survey, but not all at once. To fully support light and dark mode in widgets & surveys there should be single SDK function call. Possible solution: window.Frill('config', { theme: 'light' })

It's a good way to get more specific feedback on an announcement, good or bad. Not just emojis. Comments would then be sent to an Inbox in the dashboard for review.

Hi, it would be great if we could upload a different logo for the users who are using the dark mode in their profile. Currently there is only one option and a lot of logos have a light and dark version. If you switch to dark mode it could look like a bug and nearly disappear.

Give customers the option to choose between vertical and horizontal scrolling Roadmap views.

I'd like to be able to publish different roadmaps for different customers / customer segments.

Our team uses CrowdIn to manage localizations across our entire brand, including Zendesk. This allows us to offer content in 7+ languages, easily roll out new strings or new languages, and automatically have them translated based on our own translation memory. We would need this for any public content. Not for what the user says, nor what we write, but for the layout text strings across the app. Such as the public facing board descriptions and titles, statuses, topics, etc.

Having a "flyout" similar to getbeamer would be nice!!

I would like migrate my actual "feedback" list in frill, but I don't want lose the vote, so would be nice if admin can setup an initial level of votes for new ideas.

We use quite a few topics on our board... Topics get around the need for different boards. But it would be great if we could put topics into groups or folders so they are easier to navigate on the LHS menu.

That text line costs space in the height. It should be moved to the right.

I think a documentation section would really compliment this tool. The ability to create your own documentation and hot it on frill.co would be a great addition!
